The understanding and use of social media is a critical competence for L&P professionals in 2013   and there are significant opportunities for professionals to use social media to enhance their own development and the capabilities of their organizations. Do professionals in the Training and Development field lag behind in adoption and usage of these interactive technologies or have we finally developed an understanding for how social channels can benefit our organizations – and ourselves?

Social Media provides opportunities for L&P/HR leaders to further organizational goals and strategies and attendees at this session will leave with ideas on how to innovate and lead initiatives within their Department and their organization in order to continue to propel themselves and the profession forward.

Program Objectives
  • The use of social media tools including how, why and for what purpose
  • Determining which channels will work best for you and your organization
  • How to use social media to support organizational objectives
  • Your role as a social media champion
