Change Anything: Overcoming Career Limiting Habits

So often, we want to make big changes but lack the resolve to see them through. We can't seem to summon the necessary willpower to take on huge challenges like saving for retirement, earning a promotion, quitting smoking, increasing productivity, or losing weight. But it turns out, willpower has little to do with whether or not people succeed at changing bad behavior.

Change Anything teaches participants how to:

• Diagnose what's keeping them stuck in the status quo
• Create change plans that lead to desirable and lasting results
• Translate performance feedback into action
• Use six sources of influence to make individual change inevitable

ASTD Baton Rouge chapter strives to bring cutting-edge workplace learning to the community through
special events like our Professional Development event. The Chapter incurs significant up-front costs in
hosting these special events. To help protect the chapter’s finances, participation in special events is not
guaranteed until payment is received in full. Payments are accepted online (credit card or e-check via
Paypal) or by mail (check or money order). If you wish to pay by mail, please ensure payment is received
by the Chapter within 10 business days prior to the event date. If payment is not received within 10
business days prior to the event, your registration will be purged from the system and the seat will be

Once your payment is received, cancellation of this event is not allowed. In lieu of cancellation, you
may send a substitute attendee. Please contact vpprofessionaldevelopment@br.astd.org to make
