A Message from Mark:

I love being a connector, catalyst, pioneer, teacher, stimulator, advisor, and influencer! I was born as a team player since I was born as an identical twin. I am happily married with 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats!

One of my favorite philosophies is around the concept of karma...sowing positive seeds will - over time - produce positive outcomes! Which is why I'm passionate about giving back, volunteering, and doing my part to leave the world in a better place!

Though I reside in Atlanta (and love it), I am from Bean Town (Boston) and earned my undergraduate degree from Boston University. Because I love to learn, I pressed on and earned an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta School of Business. For the fun of it, I run marathons…11 total so far. Little known fact, while in college, I rowed crew for Boston University.

I earned my American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) association designation as a Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) and am currently a volunteer leader. I had the honor of serving as the 2011 President of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASTD leading the organization’s efforts in growing membership 54% and revenue 87%. Now, I'm a national advisor to 11 ASTD chapters in the South.

I have more than twenty five years business experience spanning learning & performance, leadership, management; call center management, marketing, management/sales education, recruiting, sales, marketing and public relations. I love flexing my business muscles in a number of areas including: consulting, facilitation, management/leadership skill building, curriculum development, recruitment, selection, non-profit management, professional business-to-business selling skills, negotiation, business, strategic planning, human resources, and coordination of people and resources.

Previously, I had the privilege of working at IMPAX – a sales enablement company, Pitney Bowes (PB) serving as Director of the Sales Center of Learning and Performance and Director Employee Development & Performance and Dictaphone Corporation (now Nuance Healthcare)serving in numerous roles in and around the sales, sales enablement and workplace learning functions. While at PB, I developed and executed all learning services solutions for sales employees for several divisions where my training groups were listed in Training Magazine’s Top 125 (International companies ranked based on associate training and development).

Today, I feel honored to work with such a talented team at GII and live out our mantra – “The world inspired!” It’s an inspiring ride! I hope you'll jump on board!
