Sandy Michelet has a passion for performance and has one goal in life – “to make a difference”. She is HR Director with the Shaw Group and has enjoyed the “fast paced, never stop, take a breath to move to the next thing” culture for over six years. She leads a team of 20 and focuses on execution excellence – recognizing that the good ideas are easy to create – but executing well is the hard part!

 

In 2010 she earned her Senior in Professional Human Resources designation. She has a Masters Degree in Workforce Development from USM – and became interested in the program after completing the USM T&D Certificate Program.

 

She rides a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail, sings in a band on the weekends and is a part time ballerina (only in her living room). She lives in Baton Rouge with her chocolate lab and her husband – but don’t tell Craig that he was listed second to the dog.
