If you are planning to pursue the CPLP credential (or are thinking seriously about it), attend this webcast and hear from four successful CPLP credential holders about how they studied and prepared for the exams. Join me and our panelists Natasha Roberts, Anne Scott, Bill Corrigan and Colleen Worthington for this interactive session.

During the webcast, you will learn about:

  • key steps to take to prepare for both exams

Susan Kaiden

Project Manager, Credentialing, ATD

Sue Kaiden is the Project Manager, Credentialing for the Association for Talent Development. In this role, Sue manages the preparation products used by candidates for the CPLP and APTD credentials. Prior to joining the CI team, Sue was the Manager of the Career Development community at ATD where she managed content and services related to career development, including ATD's job bank.

Before coming to ATD, Sue held executive and consulting roles in the healthcare, IT, and nonprofit sectors and founded a career coaching firm, CareerEdge. In addition, she started a job search support program for unemployed and underemployed people in the Philadelphia area which she ran for 11 years. Through this program and her coaching practice, Sue helped hundreds of people find meaningful work. Sue is the author of Keeping Your Career on Track(TD at Work) and the editor of Find Your Fit: A Practical Guide to Landing a Job You'll Love, a book written with 16 top-notch career coaches, published in October 2016. Sue holds an MBA from Cornell University, a BS from Miami University (Ohio), and is a certified Myers Briggs (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory practitioner.  


Natasha Roberts, CPLP

Director, The Urban Institute

Natasha Roberts is director of talent development at the Urban Institute. She is responsible for Urban’s talent development strategy and efforts to develop a more robust performance- and learning-driven program for staff that includes enhanced performance management capabilities and e-learning tools. She plans, facilitates, designs, and develops training and development activities to support Urban initiatives.

Before joining Urban, Roberts was a senior associate for training and development at Chemonics International Inc. Before that, she held positions at UNICEF, Kaplan Test Prep, the United States Mission to the United Nations, and the International Institute for Sustainable Development. She has expertise in coaching, mentoring, supervising, and designing training programs on topics ranging from management and leadership to budgeting and proposal writing.

Roberts is a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and its affiliated Washington, DC, chapter. She is an active leader in the Metro DC ATD chapter as a board member between 2017 and 2019 and the coleader of the instructional design community of practice since 2016. She received her MA in international relations at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations and is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).


Colleen Worthington, CPLP

OD Professional, University Hospitals

Colleen Worthington, CPLP lives near Cleveland, Ohio and currently works in the healthcare industry in Organizational Development and has extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering programs for a wide range of learners. Colleen’s recent L&D passions include video production, microlearning, and, in general, utilizing creative technologies to engage end users. Colleen holds a master's degree in Adult Education and Human Resource Studies from Colorado State University and is working toward a Master of Science in Instructional Design from Quinnipiac University.


Anne Scott, CPLP

Talent Management Lead, Humana

Anne M. Scott, CPLP is a workplace learning and development professional with 15 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning and classroom course development, facilitation, and training project management. As a Talent Management Lead with Humana’s Employer Group Sales Training team, she partners with business leaders to design & develop learning technology solutions that impact sales performance and increase sales capabilities. Anne holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University.

Bill Corrigan, CPLP

Instructional Designer, Visa

Bill Corrigan has been focused on professional and talent development, curriculum design, needs analysis, learning experience design and content development throughout his career. He's worked in global enterprise settings (Dell, Visa) as as well as universities (University of Washington, University of Texas at Austin). Bill holds the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential from the Association for Talent Development. He also servies as the Vice President for Administration at ATD Austin Chapter and advises the SXSWedu conference every year.
