Meeting Description

Managing change is a complex task and required by all leaders in today’s rapidly changing world.  In spite of the difficulty often associated with implementing change in our workplaces, it is the single most important element in organizational success.  Often, we have no decision in the change but are charged with leading our people to implement important and mission critical changes.  Join this session for tales, talking and tips on thriving through change in the workplace.

Objectives

  • Discuss participant role as a change agent
  • Identify ways to increase workplace change implementation success
  • Identify practical actions one can take "to be the change"

About the Presenter

Dr. Annulis serves as Assistant Director of the Jack and Patti Phillips Workplace Learning and Performance Institute (WLPI) and Associate Professor of Workforce Training and Development at The University of Southern Mississippi.   Annulis also serves as the Director of the Workforce Training and Development master’s degree program the Director of the Training and Development Certificate program.  She regularly works with public and private organizations to solve workplace issues. Over the past ten years, Heather helped generate over $5m in external funding for Southern Miss.  In 2006, she was named to the Mississippi Business Journal’s prestigious list of Mississippi’s Top 40 Under 40.  Annulis earned the prestigious credential of Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from the American Society for Training & Development and the honor of Distinguished e-Learning Professor from USM.
